robert treadway
principal/founder

After a successful college career at Loyola University New Orleans, Rob ventured to Washington, DC for reporting internships with The Washington Times and The St. Louis Post-Dispatch Washington bureau, as well as a fellowship at the acclaimed Washington Center for Politics & Journalism. Upon completion of these programs, Rob decided that he wanted to pursue a career in both writing and design and turned to the strong association sector in DC for experience.

After spending more than a year at the American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works, he accepted the position of Director of Communications with the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS®. His duties for those several years included: Publications, marketing, Web sites, electronic publications, speechwriting, strategic partnerships, media relations, public relations, writing, editing, design, advertising, coordinating community involvement projects and redesigning numerous titles for several metro area REALTOR® associations. Since beginning college, he has consulted on numerous freelance and volunteer projects as well.

Rob brings with him a comprehensive understanding of the workings of communications and associated professions. He has garnered several writing and design awards in his career, including The Los Angeles Times/Associated Collegiate Press Award for Best News Story in 1999, the Gold Award for Web site excellence from the American Society of Webmasters, and while at Loyola, he was Editor-In-Chief of its award-winning student newspaper, The Maroon. He has also worked for The Times-Picayune (New Orleans daily newspaper), The New York Times (New Orleans bureau as assistant to Rick Bragg), Gambit Weekly (New Orleans alternative weekly) and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He is a member of the DC Advertising Club, IABC Washington, the DC Preservation League and several real estate industry associations. He is on the Board of Directors for the Thomas Circle Singers, a Development Committee member with the DC Preservation League and participates in charitable events throughout the year.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Print Journalism (minor: graphic design) and is accumulating credits for his CAE and ABC designations. Rob founded the firm in September 2005.
